This morning I way overslept and was late to work by half an hour. I didn't really want to eat my normal breakfast that late. I usually eat at 7AM and this was almost 10 AM. So I dipped into my Larabar stash and decided to try the new flavor Peanut Butter and Jelly.
The stats are:
210 calories,
90 fat calories,
60 mg sodium, and
1/2 serving of fruit.
The ingredients are:
dates, peanuts, unsweetened cherries and salt.
I was surprised to see salt as an ingredient. The bar had a strong PB flavor with just a touch of cherry. If you're a PB fan then you'll like this one. I would buy it.
So for breakfast I had the PB & J Larabar and 1/2 c frozen organic blueberries and a can of diet Dr K (Kroger brand stand-in for Dr Pepper). I'm holding steady at 2 cans of pop a day but I don't think it will be very long before I drop down to one can and then ***drumroll***NONE.
