yes, that is hot temps you had! and maybe a little extreme....but i honestly would be very happy with the majority of the year being summer. ain't going to happen in canada! already, our overnights and mornings are decidedly cool - fall is a-coming!

wow, i can see how that childhood experience would still stay with you, johanna. pretty scary. i don't like thunder and lightening storms, they make me a little nervous, but i'm more scared of dogs! like you, a couple of unsettling childhood experiences + a few run-ins with dogs as an adult are why i feel this way.
